Freemasons are an organization of men that work together to contribute positively to society while helping one another improve; i.e., to make themselves better than they were yesterday. The Scottish Rite extends and enhances the teachings of the Blue Lodge (a.k.a. local Masonic Lodge) to reinforce the moral and philosophical underpinnings of Freemasonry while enjoying a variety of social and charitable activities.
