Langdon Auditorium

Dahl Grand Banquet Room
With seating for up to 450 guests, the Dahl Grand Banquet Room is one of the premier reception locations in downtown Des Moines. Recently renovated, this large space has an unforgettable look that is perfect for receptions and parties. Elegant archways and marble columns create a regal feel fit for the best of events.

Tapestry Room
On the 2nd floor of the Consistory, you will find the Tapestry Room, where classic décor, a large fireplace, and beautiful walnut woodwork create the perfect space for your most elegant of gatherings.
With seating for up to 300 people, this large but intimate area is perfect for cocktail parties, receptions, and banquets. The room layout allows for a great deal of flexibility in floor plans.
The space includes a portable dance floor and bar service area.

Building access begins at 9 am the day of the event for vendors and clients.
On-site event supervisor & uniformed security guard included.
A large selection of pre-approved caterers.
Only one rental event is scheduled per room per day.
